‘The Fall Guy’ Summer Box Office Report: An American action comedy film, The Fall Guy which is all set to break box office records is directed by David Leitch and written by Drew Pearce. The story of the film revolves around a 1980s TV series about stunt performers but with its own twists. The story shows a stuntman working for his ex-girlfriend’s directorial debut action film.
The cast of the film stars Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, Hannah Waddingham, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu & Winston Duke. Earlier, the film was released at SXSW on 12th March 2024 and later it made its way to the silver screen in other countries like Australia & New Zealand by 24th April 2024. Universal Pictures is yet to release this film in countries like the US & Canada on 3rd May 2024.
The film even made its way to set a Guinness World Record for the most cannon rolls performed in a car due to which we can see a lot of support and praise from the critics regarding this film. The Cinematography of this film was taken care of by Jonathan Sela and overall editing was done by Elisabet Ronaldsdottir.
The total runtime of this film is 126 minutes with a total budget of $130 million. With this budget and the starting screening, we can definitely say that this isn’t the ordinary kind of stunt we get to see usually in Hollywood. As the film is yet to be released in the US and Canada, the production is expecting to collect a whopping $30-35M on the opening day making it to the top of the weekend charts.
This film consists of the two essential items of the ‘Barbenheimer’ effect i.e. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, who are joining hands for “The Fall Guy”. Now the real question is, will audiences get turned up to see “Barbie” & “Oppenheimer” stars performing together in their new action comedy film and are they going to love it?
Well, “The Fall Guy” is all set to make its way to the silver screen and mark the beginning of the summer season but its juicy budget might take a bit long to cover up.
