The Frog Episode 6 Netflix’s Recap: Episode 6 starts by unravelling the previously unanswered questions about Gi-ho’s association with the serial killer. We see how he was the one who encountered the killer in action in the motel while his father was asleep. The killer tells the kid to act like a ghost who heard nothing and saw nothing.
The scene cuts to an older Gi-ho buying and assembling a gun, and later timing an escape from an old decrepit building to the hospital where his grandmother is admitted. While no information is revealed, it can be deciphered that Gi-ho is attempting to kill someone, more specifically, his parents’ wrongdoer- the serial killer.

He reaches home and finds a trespasser whom he vehemently beats up. The trespasser though, is none other than Jeon actively seeking out for Gi-ho. He first sees news of the killer and the motel on TV and later finds a picture of the same motel on Capt. Yoon Bo-min’s desk, and fears his vacation home to reach the same fate. To find the owner of the motel, he first goes to the realtor, who gives him the address of Gu Sang-jun, presently residing in a nursing home for the elderly.

Upon visiting him, he realises that Gu Sang-jun is still stuck in the past, and hasn’t been able to move on. Although, what they do have in common are lives ruined by maniacal guests, whom they want to free themselves from. Gu Sang-jun proposes killing the guest and asks him to contact ‘the gentleman’, his son whom he doesn’t recognise as a grown-up, thus calling him that.
This is how Jeon finds Gi-ho, who takes him for a cop, owing to all the missed calls and texts from Capt. Yoon, and beats him and ties him up.
Meanwhile back at the vacation home, Capt. Yoon sees Yoo smoking outside, and out of suspicion and curiosity, enters the villa when the latter leaves. Back at the hospital, we come to know that the serial killer is visiting his old, ailing mother, and a vindictive Gi-ho plans to shoot him there, as revenge for his parents. While he misses at first, he is able to kill him with the help of his uncle Jong-doo.
He introduces himself as the ghost, a name given to him by the killer himself. He then flees the hospital and returns home, only to find Jeon out of ties and free. He sends him back to prepare for the final part of his master plan, which was killing himself. However, Jeon interjects at the right time and saves the boy from making such a mistake.
