The Crow (2024) Movie: The American media franchise ‘The Crow’, is actually based on a limited comic book series with the same name. This comic book series was created by James O’Barr and since its inception, many films, TV series as well as a video game has been adapted on it. The cast of ‘The Crow’
The story of the film generally revolves around a central character, Eric Draven, a musician who had a troubled childhood. In this part of the film, we see Eric as a young man who meets a woman named Shelly who is trying to escape from her troubles and the saga continues. If we talk about the cast of the original film back then, it will be Brandon Lee, Michael Wincott, and Ernie Hudson but in the 2024 adaptation of ‘The Crow’ we have an all-new cast delivering their stunning performance taking the series to new heights.
The character of Eric Draven (The Crow) has been performed by Bill Istvan Skarsgard, a Swedish actor popularly known for his role in the famous horror films ‘IT’ and ‘IT: Chapter Two’ which came in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Then we have Eric’s girlfriend, Shelly, performed by Tahliah Debrett Barnett who is commonly known as FKA Twings.

She is a British actress, singer, songwriter as well as dancer by profession. We also have, Danny Huston, an American actor, director and screenwriter performing the role of Vincent Roeg, the crime lord from whom Shelly is running away and along with them we have Josette Simon as Sophia, Sami Bouajila as Kronos, Isabella as Zadie and Laura Birn as Marian.
Well, no doubt that the overall series is doing well and as a result, we have not 3rd or 4th, but the 5th sequel on the big screen after the success of its TV series and Game. Although the film has received a mixed review if we talk about its direction, overall story, the execution, performance of the cast, and box office collection.
Based on the viewers’ reaction, they seem impressed by the cast performance as well as the overall plot of the story which is a full package of action, crime, and thriller. If we talk about the Box office collection, it has faced tough competition with other ongoing films like ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ & ‘Blink Twice’ which are still managing to top the charts on the weekends despite being their 5th week.

Based on the latest figures, we can conclude that ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is easily able to top the charts even in its 5th weekend with a total $577.9 million collection where as ‘Alien: Romulus’ is tailing behind Deadpool but with huge margins with just $73M in it’s 2nd week whereas ‘The Crow’ (2024) has done a total collection of $4.7M on its 1st week.
