Breathless Episode 6 : The mayhem continues in episode 6 now that President Patricia is discharged from the hospital and back in action. Hate towards Dr Moa sustains as hecklers trouble him. Thus, the only option he deems effective is to debate the president about their demands on live TV.
Chaos ensues at the hospital as burn victims from the prison make their way to the emergency services. An already understaffed hospital now has to make room for prisoners caught in the prison fire and treat them with care. To help share the load, the doctors on strike too return to their respective duties. However, the race to survival is not just a professional matter for Lluís and Leo as their son Hugo was also caught in the fire.
Biel, on the other hand, goes through a moral dilemma while treating two patients at once, one who tried to kill the other. Dr Donoso then reminds him of his oath to save lives above all, without judgment or bias. While he does momentarily disobey her orders, all is well in the end.

Meanwhile, Patricia prepares for the debate with Dr Moa and calls on Biel to inform him of her recent metastasis diagnosis. She asks him if Dr Moa’s recklessness was responsible for it, but he declines. Her assistant brings her a crucial piece of evidence to aid her in the debate, which she decides not to use so as to not stoop so low.
Back at the hospital, Lluís finds out about Leo’s forgery of the rape report and asks her to surrender herself. She decides to do so, but not before talking to her son, who pleads guilty of not stopping when asked to do so, deeming the intercourse as non-consensual. In the meantime, May and Rucío argue some more over custody and get their lawyers involved. On the flip side, Enrique and Óscar confess their love for each other, after days of avoiding each other.
Things heat up during the debate between the president and Dr Mao, where the latter accuses the former of privatization leading to a scarcity of public hospital staff, which caused more deaths than the strike itself. The debate soon ends as the president chooses not to use the critical piece of information which her assistant provided her with.
We later come to know that the information is about Dr Moa’s wife, and how, she too died of cancer, under his expert supervision. However, the debate does seem to enrage a lot of citizens as Dr Moa is beaten up violently while he’s on a run in his free time. Taken to the hospital, he encounters Patricia once again, who asks him to treat her metastasis despite their ideological differences.
