Although treated with extreme care and sensitivity, she hesitates and doubts the events surrounding her rape on account of being high on multiple substances. Meanwhile, an anxious President Patricia undergoes chemotherapy and calls the media for a photo-op on being advised to fight the disease like she would fight the opposition of the government. Post the chemo, she feels dizzy and vomits all over, which is concerning to Dr. Moa. In Enrique’s life, other troubles ensue as he worries about coming into contact with STDs which Oscar had tested positive for. He asks his colleague Dr Rocío to keep his secret of knowing Oscar from before, who denies it. Dr Aamro, on the other hand, is grateful that her son finds solace in the company of Enrique, sharing his woes with him.

The hospital is suddenly plagued by several patients in costumes, coming from the tourism fair, all inflicted by a peculiar case of food poisoning. As they are understaffed, Rodrigo is called on, who manages to keep his fear aside, and successfully treat a dying man. Dr Moa realises that the president was also at the fare, hence the vomiting and goes to check on her, finding her lying unconscious on the bathroom floor.

Both Enrique and Dr Leo’s apprentice discuss not being supported by their colleagues, and we see how the latter is in a hidden relationship with her colleague Rucío. She requests her to lie for Enrique and have his back. Back at Dr Leo’s home, her son is taken in by the police on grounds of sexual assault, seemingly the same one she tampered with the report of.

Meanwhile, Enrique’s test results for STDs turn out to be negative, and Rodrigo becomes the new hero of the hospital. However, this fame proves to be short-lived when he encounters the dead girl’s mourning mother. She tells him how someone from the hospital threatened her son to take the blame for the forgery on himself, and curses his conscience to be guilty forever.

A guilt-stricken Rodrigo, unable to live under the weight of his misgivings, jumps off the hospital building while being live on social media for the world to see.
