Upon reaching the rehabilitation centre, Luce is disconcerted by the level of security and surveillance. Surrounded by guards and cameras, she isn’t allowed any personal belongings before entering the dorm. Here, she meets Cam, another resident at the facility, who seems to be well accustomed to the rules there. Luce then undergoes a session with the counsellor, Dr. Howson, who tells her that all contact with the outside world is forbidden in order to have control over one’s emotions.
Later she is given a tour of the campus where she comes across Daniel, who is plotting an escape from the facility. He smuggles a device into the grounds, which we later see, is for jamming the cameras. Both Luce and Daniel have another episode of visions when their eyes meet, foreboding a connection between them.
Later in his room, Daniel sees the same visions of a motorbike accident from his past. When a nurse comes in to give his medication, he tricks her by hiding the pills in his palm. Meanwhile, in Luce’s room, she meets her roommate Arriane, who asks her to cut her hair in the same way as Luce. Upon refusal, she cuts it on her own, when Luce notices the cut marks on her arm.
In the dining hall, Luce and Arianne encounter a group of bullies, and the meeting breaks out into a brawl between Molly and Luce, as the latter reminds her of when she saw her wrestling with the guards on the way in. The guards break the fight up and Arianne is tased with the help of the ankle monitor she has on.
To gather her thoughts, Luce goes to the library where she finds Daniel trying to smuggle a map to help him flee. Here, they acknowledge that they both seem familiar to the other, before being interrupted by Sophia Bliss, the librarian. Luce lies that she lost her way but is guided back to her room before curfew by Miss. Sophia.

The next morning, during the half marathon, the residents are divided into two groups. The running residents are followed by a surveillance drone and a guard to monitor their movement. Despite the security, Daniel manages to escape the premises using the materials he smuggled in. On their run, Luce and Cam come across a hole in the barbed fence and follow the escapee.
The authorities too, figure out about their getaway and chase them. Outside the premises, Cam jumps off a cliff and dies because he knows he won’t be able to escape without being found. Luce cries out loud for help, which Daniel overhears. Once again, he gets visions of his accident, but this time, he sees the face of his partner, who is Luce herself. He rushes to help her but they both get caught.
On their way back to the facility, Daniel warns Luce about the rehabilitation and how it will make her think she is crazy. Dr. Howson wishes to make an example of Daniel to prevent other residents from doing the same. Luce is sent to solitary confinement where she passes by a suddenly alive and well Cam. In the last scene, she is seen wearing the same ankle monitor which was once on Arianne, and her visions continue.
