Gangs of Galicia Episode 5 Recap: A new Netflix web series that revolves around crime and drama. In this article, we will cover episode 5 of Gangs of Galicia Season 1. At the end of episode 4, we see Mario was able to find the cash hidden by his father in the forest but he gets caught by Nilo. Episode 5 starts with a journalist insisting Jose Padin make a statement about the case he is going through. On the other hand, Nilo takes Marco and his girlfriend with him.
Then, Daniel sees his father on the news speaking about the ill treatment he is receiving from the police. Upon seeing that, Daniel gets tensed as he feels that this interview might create more tension for his bail. He then calls Nilo who informs him about Marco’s incident and that he is taking Marco to his father so that he can know what his son was doing.

Then in the next scene, Ana feels that something is wrong with Ruby, she asks her about it to which she says that the police have asked her to turn sides but she can’t do it as it’s too dangerous. While she was having this conversation with Ruby in the café, Samuel appeared there with a loaded gun and started firing on Padin members. He shoots Nilo’s brother and then goes to find Nilo and Daniel as revenge for what they did to him earlier. Ana goes behind him to save Daniel but Samuel reaches there first.
He fires a shot on Nilo but it hits Maria and then another shot hits Daniel and then goes away from there. Ana reaches there immediately and assists Nilo in taking them to the hospital. After that, Aana approaches Mario to explain that where he got that money and what happened that so she can help him with the case but he refuses to get any help from Daniel as he feels, because of him Maria got shot and died. Everyone attends Maria’s funeral, except Daniel as he is admitted to the hospital.
Ana goes to the hospital to visit Daniel, she shows her concern about Nilo and the group due to whom, the 17-year-old girl got killed. Daniel says that even he wants those things to stop but right now people in the gang trust Nilo so he can’t do much about it. Then he asks Ana to go on a trip to handle one of his cases. She goes to the airport and takes a flight for him. On the other hand, Laura, Maria’s mother, receives a letter with Maria’s name upon reading which she starts sobbing.
Then Ana goes to that parking to meet Jose, Daniel’s father. He asks her to hand over her and leave her vehicle there and come with him in his vehicle. He then takes her to a flat and asks her to remove her clothes and prove that she is not carrying any spying camera or microphone with her underneath her clothes. She says that Daniel has sent her so he can trust her but he told her that Daniel might trust her but not him as of now. Upon checking, he shared the coordinates with her and gave her a flight ticket. She needs to take the flight, go to a location and share the coordinates with the person there.

Then we can see Daniel getting discharged from the hospital. He asks his brother to take him to the bar instead of home. He visits Maria’s grandmother and shows his courtesy. Ana reaches the city and takes a taxi to her location but finds herself being followed by someone. She gets tense and changes her plan to go back as she doesn’t feel safe. While returning to the airport she receives Jose’s call to go back and get the job done and the guy following her is sent by him so she doesn’t need to worry much. She heads back to the meeting spot and shares the info with him.
On the other side, after reading the letter, Laura visits Maria’s grave where she meets Marco who agrees to share the info regarding Daniel’s plan. Laura meets the police and says that she will provide them with info but in return, she wants them to get caught and face punishments for their deeds and there ends episode 5 of Gangs of Galicia.
