Garouden Episode 6 Recap: Netflix presents a high-octane action anime called ‘Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf’. This eight-episodic action anime series deals with the story of Juzo Fujimaki, a cold-blooded fighter. Once Juzo Fujimaki escapes from his place after murdering a robber. Later after years, various organisations and criminals start to look for him for their interests. It also showcases an underworld tournament among deadly fighters around the world.
Episode 6 opens with Bunshichi Tanba and his assistant walking through the forest. They approach Master Soichiro Izumi’s workplace. When they reach the place, Himekawa and Soichiro Izumi have already been waiting for them. Bunshichi Tanba introduces himself and invites Soichiro Izumi for a duel.
Instantly he accepts Bunshichi Tanba’s invitation and starts fighting. Soichiro Izumi starts his powerful kicks against Bunshichi Tanba, but it’s getting blocked. Bunshichi Tanba uses a special technique against Soichiro Izumi, he blocks each movement from Soichiro Izumi.

Soichiro Izumi starts getting tired and weak after the back-to-back counterattacks from Bunshichi Tanba. He seemed powerful with his punches and Soichiro Izumi couldn’t withhold the pressure from going down. Eventually, blood spills from Soichiro Izumi’s mouth and he slowly falls down after being weak. After the strong battle, with supreme power, Bunshichi Tanba wins the duel. Soichiro Izumi seems breathing a little, Himekawa checks on his master. Bunshichi Tanba at the same time invites Himekawa for a duel. But he didn’t want to get into a battle currently, so says okay for battle in future. Later, Himekawa takes the wounded master Soichiro Izumi to his home.
Meanwhile, Juzo Fujimaki is on a crucial fighting competition with Mifune. Juzo Fujimaki gets attacked severely by Mifune. He is blocking every single move of Juzo Fujimaki. Mifune’s son Kaito keeps saying numbers during the combat. Kaito gives instructions to Mifune to defend Juzo Fujimaki’s attacks. Mifune kicks him badly, Juzo Fujimaki each counter attacks gets failed in front of Mifune. Jose Carlos finds out that each numbers given by Kaito lead to particular moments of the opponents. Kaito learnt every move of Mifune in the past few years, so he himself found this technique to defend himself from opponents.
Juzo Fujimaki uses full utmost power to overcome the attacks from Mifune. He falls down multiple times and in the end, he rounds his legs around Mifune’s head and makes him accept his defeat. Juzo Fujimaki eventually wins the match and Mifune encourages him to win the competition. After the match, the Sergeant informs Juzo Fujimaki about the defeat of his master Soichiro Izumi. Juzo Fujimaki finds out that the same guy, Bunshichi Tanba, who attacked Shino’s students is behind the defeat of his Master.
Meanwhile, Tamon goes looking for Juzo Fujimaki after watching the live show. When Tamon and his team reached the spot, everyone left the place. Later that day, Saeko and Himekawa talks about the defeat of Soichiro Izumi.
Soichiro Izumi’s daughter Saeko isn’t sad at all about the condition of her father. Himekawa and Saeko slowly start a chemistry between them. Saeko unexpectedly kisses Himekawa. Within minutes, he gets a call from his director about the location of Juzo Fujimaki. Then, he says goodbye to Saeko. Meanwhile in the middle of an ocean, Juzo Fujimaki finally starts his ending battle with Oleg Zaitsev. Shozan Matsuo and Himekawa also witnessed the match along with Sergeant Jose Carlos. Juzo Fujimaki strongly defends every attack from Oleg Zaitsev.
In the end, he uses the Tiger king technique and beats Oleg Zaitsev. Juzo Fujimaki finally wins the match and denies his prize, because he wants to fight against Bunshichi Tanba.
Overall the sixth episode was outstanding. The action sequences were the biggest plus of this episode. They commenced three great action segments in this particular episode. The episode was very much rushed like everything was going to end sooner. Let’s see how it goes in the next episode.
