Seamus Gallagher In ‘Bodkin’: Netflix presents just another popular mysterious crime thriller drama series called ‘Bodkin‘. This limited series revolves around a small town called Bodkin from Ireland. The plot happens around three podcasters re-investigating a two-decades-old missing case. Things get pretty bad for the podcasters when the residents deny cooperating with them for the podcast.

Seamus Gallagher is an important character in the Netflix show ‘Bodkin’. He is an old age man with long hair and beard. He is very much rough and tidy. Seamus Gallagher’s real name is Jack McFadden which is completely unknown among Bodkin people. Seamus usually talks very less with unknown people. He is very much concentrated on his business. He is an alcoholic and arrogant sometimes.

Seamus Gallagher’s character is portrayed by Irish actor David Wilmot. His notable works are Michael Collins (1996), I Went Down (1997), The Devil’s Own (1997) King Arthur (2004) and The Guard (2011). He did an outstanding performance as Seamus in the show. Seamus Gallagher lost his brother and girlfriend twenty-five years ago. He is living a lonely life in his house along with a dog.

Seamus Gallagher is a violent smuggler. He is used to smuggling drugs, eels and weapons across borders. He is not originally from Bodkin, he shifted to Bodkin after a tragic drawback in his business. He has a brother named Malachy, who made a friendship with Darragh during the prison period and later cheated him for lands. After the disappearance of Malachy, Seamus took charge of the land and became a Bodkin resident.

Seamus stole goods from the McCardle family, when the brothers got out of prison, they kept looking for Seamus. He somehow survives their attack and kills one of the McCardle brothers. After reaching Bodkin, he started an eel smuggling business along with Sean.

Seamus Gallagher is a single man, who had a relationship with a girl named Fiona in the past. Fiona and Malachy tried to escape from Bodkin due to the torture of Seamus. They disappeared from the place without any clues. Seamus Gallagher waited for them for twenty-five years. He eventually found out that he had a son.

Fiona was pregnant with Seamus’s child during the days of her disappearance. She didn’t say anything to Seamus about the child, also she died by giving birth to the child. After twenty-five years, Seamus Gallagher found out that his assistant Sean is his biological son. Interpol noted every move of Seamus Gallagher for a long time, they wanted to arrest him during the smuggling business.

Seamus Gallagher showed good interest in Gilbert. He never opened up his emotions with anyone, he trusted Gilbert for some time. Seamus got angry when he found out that Gilbert hid things from him. His brother was seen dead inside Sergeant Powers’ car, but Gilbert didn’t tell him initially.

Teddy killed his brother and Sergeant Powers buried the body, this truth is still a secret from Seamus. Sean stole his eels and tried to do business with Interpol, but Seamus opposed his moves and created a big fight. In the end, Seamus Gallagher died at the seashore, the McCardle family found him trying to escape from Bodkin, and they did their revenge in the end.
