Wicked has surprised everyone with its Day 1 box office numbers. The film got a decent screen count and there was buzz that the film would start well but surprisingly the Day 1 numbers were brilliant and the film is now eyeing for a strong weekend. Here are the box office numbers of the film worldwide.
The film was released in over 3.9k theatres and the film collected approx 46.7 Million dollars on Day 1. The film has limited release and thus worldwide collection is almost the same. The Day 2 numbers also look strong and if everything goes on like this, the film will be the third biggest opener of 2024 and this is really surprising.
The buzz of the film was not up to the mark before its release and now its looks like the film is getting its due. The reviews are also mixed but still, the film is the first choice of movie lovers.
